Les Follaterres

It is the rock spur at the entrance of Valais and also the beginning of the vineyard: The gate of Fully. Winds from the Léman are cut by the rocky wall of the “Sex-Carro” and meet the light and dry breezes of the Rhone.

Variety of flowers and plant world: with its yellow corolla, the extremely rare “Spring pheasant’s eye” (Gagea-saxatilis) surrounded by singular butterflies, points out the unusual surroundings. This exception is confirmed by some Pinot Noir or Gamay which grow under the influence of local air flows on this crystalline rock ground.
